About Me

Hello Everyone, my name is DeVon Ward and this is my first blog post representing my company Curtis Media Group. I am a recent graduate from Michigan State University (Media Arts and Technology, B.A.) and I am a current student at Full Sail University (Entertainment Business M.S.). I will use this blog to spark discussions while also sharing information about my company. As of right now the term "Jack of all trades, master of none" applies to me. I have a strong foundation in media and know the fundamentals well enough to do strong quality work, but that is not good enough for me. Now I am taking what I learned and mastering each of these things one by one. My current goal is to produce music. Curtis Media Group already has some artist that we work with and the quality of work that we put out has been really good. But, practice makes perfect and we will not stop until we are considered to be the elite. In the next 5 years CMG will become a large media empire comparable to Warner Bros. Our starting point is music but we have the ability to take care of any media needs anyone has.
